Job summary

Bayer in O'Hara, PA is seeking a Sr. External Supply Manager to lead end-to-end relationships with external CMOs, ensuring robust, on-time supply of Bayer products across lifecycles while upholding cGMP, ISO, and health authority standards.

You will manage contractual obligations, drive cross-functional teams, oversee production schedules, and deliver value through risk management, performance reviews, and continuous improvement in a global supply network.

Qualifications

• Scientific degree in Pharmacy or related field (MSc/BSc). MBA is a plus.
• At least 7 years of experience in pharma/chemical manufacturing or related fields.
• Excellent pharmaceutical know-how (GMPs) and quality/regulatory awareness.
• Solid knowledge of business administration processes (controlling, value contribution).
• Business and contractual fluency in English; strong negotiation and leadership skills.
• Proven leadership and project management abilities; experience with international teams.
• Autonomy with strong cross-functional collaboration and resilience under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with CMOs and manage end-to-end relationships across product lifecycles.
• Oversee contractual obligations and monitor CMO performance with KPIs.
• Lead cross-functional teams and drive monthly business reviews.
• Ensure cGMP/ISO compliant documentation and regulatory adherence.
• Align production schedules with global supply targets and inventory planning.
• Act as project leader, manage risk, and drive value creation for projects.
