Job summary

Bayer seeks an External Supply Manager to represent Bayer with external contract manufacturers in Indianola, PA. You will drive end-to-end supply, oversee contracts, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure robust, compliant product supply on a global or local scale.

Responsibilities include managing CMOs, leading project teams, aligning production with schedules, and maintaining up-to-date documentation per cGMP and health authorities.

Qualifications

• Scientific degree (eg. MSc, BSc) in Pharmacy or related field; MBA is a plus.
• At least 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical/chemical manufacturing or related technical functions.
• Ability to manage complex business relationships and projects with high impact.
• Excellent GMP knowledge and familiarity with regulatory requirements (ICH).
• Business and contractual fluency in English with strong leadership and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CMOs and drive end-to-end relationships across the product lifecycle.
• Oversee contractual obligations, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead cross-functional operations teams and coordinate monthly business reviews.
• Ensure cGMP/ISO compliant documentation and adherence to regulatory standards.
