Step into a dynamic role at JPMorgan Chase as an External Reporting Controller. The external reporting function handles the oversight of the financial statements and management reporting, ensuring a sound control environment; applies accounting treatments, ensures compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements, coordinates the preparation of quarterly regulatory requirements, validates balance sheet items, and understands balance sheet usage and reporting.
The role is classified as Schedule Owner and includes responsibilities for the end‑to‑end production of Treasury International Capital (TIC) Country Exposure Reporting for JPMorgan Chase & Co., filed monthly, quarterly, and annually with the Federal Reserve Bank. The position involves enhancing controls and efficiency of financial reporting processes, identifying and resolving issues, tracking data quality, and implementing process improvements to reduce cycle time.
