Job summary

Diageo is recruiting a Third-Party Operations & Bulk Store Manager to oversee external manufacturing partners and the Huntingwood Liquid Bulk team. You will ensure safety, quality, reliability and cost-efficiency while aligning external and internal stakeholders across planning, procurement and commercial functions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in FMCG, manufacturing, supply chain or related operational environments.
• Proven experience leading manufacturing operations and working with external manufacturing partners or co-manufacturers.
• Strong understanding of supply planning, manufacturing performance, operational excellence and end-to-end supply chain.
• Demonstrated experience delivering Continuous Improvement, Lean, Six Sigma or similar operational excellence initiatives.
• Experience leading complex projects, business transformation, change initiatives or network optimisation.
• Strong commercial, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the performance and operational governance of third-party manufacturing partners across safety, quality, service, cost and sustainability.
• Lead and develop the Huntingwood Liquid Bulk team, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable day-to-day operations.
• Build strong partnerships with external manufacturers and internal stakeholders to align capacity, supply plans, service requirements and business priorities.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence using Lean, Six Sigma and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Lead strategic projects including product transfers, network optimisation, capacity improvements, productivity and cost-saving initiatives.
• Identify supply and operational risks, develop mitigation plans and strengthen business continuity across the external manufacturing network.
• Champion accountability, collaboration and a continuous improvement culture, using performance data and KPIs to drive better outcomes.
