Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel seeks an Executive Host to grow VIP revenues by managing relationships with coded players and driving incremental visits.

The role balances high visibility on the gaming floor with outbound sales efforts to drive revenue and trips, while resolving guest needs per established guidelines. • Three to five years’ experience in marketing, sales and/or gaming.
• Four-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Exposure to an alcohol and smoking environment and ability to work in it.
• Must secure and maintain licensure as required by applicable gaming regulators.

Responsibilities

The Executive Host is responsible for increasing rated play and driving incremental trips and revenue from VIP players. Works to grow revenues annually, consistent with property plan and cross property goals. The Executive Host will be an integral part of Live! Casino and Hotel in building and improving market share and will be the key contact for VIP guests and repeat visits. This position requires management of time between maintaining high visibility on the gaming floor to build and maintain relationships with coded players and outbound sales efforts to drive incremental revenue and trips. Responds to players needs and requests and resolves player issues following established guidelines.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Grows actual revenues annually, consistent with property plan, and cross property goals.
• Actively develops and maintains guest loyalty and incremental visitation through personal contact such as telephone contact, on-property hosting, off-property entertaining, telemarketing, direct mail, and email using available services and promotional opportunities.
• Manages constant contact and communications with VIP players through telemarketing and email and SMS about services available, promotional opportunities, special events, and resolve customer complaints, etc. to assure customer retention and repeat business.
• Work special events servicing VIP players. Monitor and adjust performance to local competition.
• Ensures a quality gaming experience through personal services and meeting the needs of the VIP Player.
• Review VIP activities and promotional status with Director/Vice President of Relationship Marketing.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of Player Tracking Systems a plus
• Knowledge of all gaming regulations. Ability to recognize problem gaming signs and deal with them appropriately.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays and must be able to participate in the on-call rotation program.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• Three (2) to five (5) years’ experience in marketing, sales, and/or gaming.
• Four-year degree in a related field of equivalent work experience preferred
• You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such an environment.

• Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Virginia Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.

Physical Requirements:

• 24/7 environment requiring extended hours including evenings and weekends
• Must be able to lift and/or push up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to work standing for up to 4 hours at a time
• Must be able to work in small, confined area
• Must be able to bend at the waist
• Must be able to reach above the head
