Peraton is seeking a candidate to design, develop, test, and operate instrumentation and control systems within a multidisciplinary team at PERATON Labs in New Jersey. The role includes developing embedded devices for prototypes and field-deployable systems and producing professional design documentation.
Required are a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 8+ years (BS), 6+ years (MS), or 3+ years (PhD) of relevant experience, plus skills in NI equipment, LabVIEW, and PLC/IO
Thesuccessfulcandidate will possess the ability to worksemi-independently in a small multi-disciplinary team utilizing their experience to analyzeanddesignelectronics and electrical systems. Additionally,developing embedded devices and modules to power, generate, and receive signals for prototypes andfield-deployable systems isa critical component of this job.Theability to read, comprehendand generate professionalqualitydesign documentation is a required capability for this position.
Job Purpose
This position will support the design, development, testing and operational phases ofprojects
undertaken at PERATON Labs, the research and development arm of PERATON corporation.This position requires the successful candidate to work closely witha diverse team of engineering,scientific and technical staff to develop novel solutions in support of such projects.

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
