Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Annapolis Junction MD area, delivering end-to-end network services across architecture, engineering, deployment, and security for a global enterprise.

Ideal candidates hold a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, 10+ years of IT experience (15 with a degree substitution), and hands-on expertise with routers, firewalls, Cisco IOS/Junos, and IP networking across LAN/WAN.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of IT-related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or related discipline is required. 15 years total of IT related experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
• Active DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher is required (i.e. Security+).
• Experience in at least two of the following areas: Network troubleshooting; Routers/Switches; Cisco IOS/Junos OS; Firewalls; LAN/WAN/CAN; Hubs/Bridges/Gateways; Network packet investigation/analysis tools; Database tools.
• Experience providing highly technical and specialized guidance and solutions to complex IT problems.
• Ability to perform elaborate analyses and studies and prepare reports and give presentations.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
• Experience performing DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) for critical network infrastructure services.
• Experience supporting MultiCloud Fabric (MCF) infrastructure.
• Cloud engineering and modernization experience.

Peraton is seeking a Network Engineer to perform as a consultant for leading edge information technologies and methodologies to join our dynamic team in the Annapolis Junction MD., area.

Our team provides full spectrum network connectivity including architecture, engineering, development, integration, deployment, configuration management, project management and network security services to the global enterprise, as well as systems and cloud engineering services for application modernization and transition of legacy applications into hybrid cloud platforms.

Required Qualifications:

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
