Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer in Suitland, MD to drive MBSE integration for a national security program. You will work with ONI and other government teams to design and implement SysML-based architectures and DoDAF views that support foreign missile and C2 systems.

The role emphasizes on-site collaboration, high-quality documentation, and MBSE standardization across multiple agencies, with TS/SCI and poly requirements; relocation support may be provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of systems engineering with a BS/BA (An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
• TS/SCI clearance adjudicated and able to pass a polygraph
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools
• Experience developing SysML artifacts in support of real-world systems
• Familiarity with ITASE (Integrated Threat Analysis and Simulation Environment)
• Working knowledge of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to work across multiple agencies and locations in a coordinated technical team

Responsibilities

Peraton was recently awarded a highly strategic mission: to design and implement a consolidated, integrated MBSE architecture across all major Intel Centers in support of Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD). Your Role: Engineering Integration at Mission Speed

As a Model-Based Systems Engineer, you will:

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
