Job summary

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is seeking a Communications professional to support development and execution of communications strategies, focusing on external communications, media relations, and crisis communications. In a 24x7 airport environment, you will collaborate with departments to promote the DFW brand and protect its reputation among employees, customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, journalism, or related field.
Three years of experience in communications/public relations environment.
Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.

Responsibilities

Develops communications strategies to achieve the Airport’s key results.
Leads and manages projects across owned, earned and paid channels.
Drafts, edits and distributes content across channels.
Measures and analyzes results to refine tactics or strategies.
Directs external partners for integrated campaigns, including internal and external communications, social media, video, events, and executive presentations.
Leads crisis and reputation management messaging and content.
Works with airport leaders and departments to identify opportunities and threats.
Reviews team work for quality and adherence to policies and procedures.
Performs other duties to further the Airport’s key results.
