The Ohio Department of Children and Youth seeks an experienced Field Staff Leader in Columbus, OH, to direct statewide audits of publicly funded child care programs. You will lead an audit unit, shape policies, and ensure compliance across agencies, with frequent regional travel and reporting to a DCY supervisor.

Ideal candidates have extensive auditing expertise, supervisory skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple agencies.

Qualifications

• 7 yrs. exp. in auditing or accounting with supervisory exp.
• 1 yr. exp. or training in supervisory principles/techniques.
• Or 12 mos. exp. as External Audit Supervisor, 66465.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage assigned audit staff with clear direction and goals.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate field audits.
• Conduct final reviews of audit work papers, memos, and proposed exceptions.
