Job summary

Pattern Energy is seeking an External Affairs Manager in the United States to support commercial objectives through integrated External Affairs processes across priority markets. You will work with Communications, ESG, Government and Regulatory Affairs, and Public Engagement, coordinating project management, budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder outreach.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 4–8 years in related fields, with strong communication and project-management skills, and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field as listed.
• 4–8 years in communications, ESG, government or regulatory affairs, stakeholder engagement, finance or related fields.
• Experience with project management and cross-functional collaboration in renewables or infrastructure industries.

Responsibilities

• Support External Affairs disciplines through cross-functional project management, coordination, research, events, and execution of priority initiatives.
• Structure and support budget development, spending tracking, forecasting, and related reporting for External Affairs priorities.
• Manage core External Affairs team meetings, agendas, follow-ups, collaboration processes, and information flow across disciplines.
• Identify process gaps and implement systems improvements, reporting enhancements, and tools that streamline day-to-day work.
• Prepare reports, presentations, policy analyses, white papers, testimony, comment letters, briefing materials, and other advocacy or executive materials.
• Coordinate with internal business partners and external stakeholders to support Pattern projects and commercial priorities.
