Job summary

The Ravin Group in Carmel, IN is seeking an experienced Exterior Estimator to join our multifamily renovation and new construction team. You will be responsible for site visits, measurements, and preparing accurate exterior estimates, with a focus on roofing, siding, windows, doors, and related assemblies.

Candidates should have 5+ years in construction estimating or related fields, proficiency in Excel and estimating tools, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, insurance adjusting, or exterior restoration.
• Strong knowledge of roofing, siding, window/door systems, and related exterior assemblies.
• Proficiency in Excel and estimating platforms such as PlanSwift, Xactimate, or Bluebeam.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently or with a team.
• Occasional travel for site inspections.

Responsibilities

• Visit job sites to take measurements, gather project details, and prepare accurate estimates for exterior scopes.
• Build detailed cost breakdowns and budgets for materials, labor, and subcontractors.
• Evaluate site conditions and provide input on constructability and scope development.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and business development staff during preconstruction.
• Review subcontractor and vendor quotes, ensuring competitive and complete pricing.
• Assist in developing project scopes, material lists, and turnover documentation for the operations team.

Exterior Estimator Multifamily Projects

Carmel, Indiana

My client is a well-established construction group that specializes in multifamily renovation and new construction projects. Theyre looking to add an experienced Exterior Estimator to the teamsomeone who understands the technical side of construction but also enjoys working in a collaborative, team-driven environment where quality and integrity matter.

This position would be a great fit for someone coming from construction estimating, insurance adjusting, or exterior restoration, especially if youve worked with roofing, siding, windows, doors, gutters, or deck framing. Exterior Estimator Responsibilities

• Visit job sites to take measurements, gather project details, and prepare accurate estimates for exterior scopes.
• Build detailed cost breakdowns and budgets for materials, labor, and subcontractors.

• Occasional travel for site inspections (short trips).
• A construction management degree is a plus, but equivalent hands-on experience works too.
