Cenvar Roofing & Solar is hiring motivated, customer-focused Sales Representatives in Troy, VA. This role is not order-taking; you’ll operate like an entrepreneur within our proven platform, owning the outcome from preparation to closing while earning commission-based income.

You’ll work face-to-face with homeowners, build trust, and leverage brand tools, financing options, and a comprehensive training program to grow your earnings and career in exterior remodeling.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience is strongly preferred.
• A proactive, self-directed approach to work.
• Confidence, persistence, organization, and a positive attitude.
• Strong interpersonal communication and the ability to build trust.
• Ability to ask good questions, present solutions, and discuss pricing and financing confidently.
• Ability to manage appointments, follow-up, and customer opportunities.
• Professional appearance and a customer-first attitude.
• Physical ability and willingness to walk on roofs, enter attics, take accurate measurements, and follow all safety procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and driving record acceptable under company insurance requirements.
• Ability to pass the company’s background-check requirements.
• Roofing or construction knowledge is helpful, but it is not required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the face of Cenvar, maintaining honesty, professionalism, and a sharp appearance at all times.
• Inspect the home’s exterior: roof, gutters, siding, windows, and doors (including getting on the roof & entering the attic).
• Maintain your own sales call schedule, calendar, and CRM records with precision and discipline.
• Maximize opportunities during peak seasons and work your book of business during slower times.
• Expertly present Cenvar’s scope of work, products, services, and policies to potential clients using supplied tools and materials.
• Create cost estimates and close deals to increase branch profitability and market share.
• Manage your personal performance metrics, including close rate, average job size, and revenue sold.
• Deliver a professional customer experience from appointment through project handoff.
• Attend weekly sales meetings and work with the team to solve problems and improve processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and keep the company vehicle orderly.
• Take ownership of your preparation, appointments, follow-up, customer experience, and results.
