Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of automotive lighting design experience.
• Minimum 3 years as a Lighting Design Release Engineer.
• Expert knowledge of CATIA V6.
• Experience with plastic tooling, injection molding, and lighting manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of automotive lighting regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and supplier management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and release exterior lighting components using CATIA V6.
• Develop headlamps, tail lamps, center light panels, and corner lamps.
• Perform feasibility studies and evaluate A-Class surfaces.
• Coordinate with styling, manufacturing, validation, and supplier teams.
• Manage component releases throughout the product lifecycle.
• Drive design optimization for cost, weight, quality, and manufacturability.
• Review simulation results and implement design improvements.
• Support prototype builds and production launches.
