Job summary

Expleo USA in Troy, Michigan seeks an Exterior Accessories Design & Release Engineer to design and release new exterior automotive accessories, lead PPAP approvals, and coordinate with Mopar purchasing and suppliers.

You will manage source package documents, coordinate testing, and drive on-time launches while delivering cost-saving initiatives and high-quality components in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience in designing exterior automotive accessories using metal materials, including metal structures, brackets, and exterior sheet-metal assemblies.
• Excellent communication skills are essential for cross-functional collaboration.
• GD&T knowledge is a plus for dimensional validation and release.

• Approve Engineering PPAP documents (Drawings, Dimensional, Validation).
• Track and manage projects for on-time launch.
• Lead change management of assigned components as needed.
• Manage root cause analysis of quality issues through GIMs.
• Manage Cost Savings initiatives of assigned components (technical and commercial).

• Design and release new Accessories for Body and Exterior commodities.
