Job summary

HTU in Evansville, Indiana, is seeking a dedicated substitute teacher to cover 5th grade classes when the regular teacher is absent. You will deliver daily lessons per prepared plans and help maintain a positive, productive classroom.

This on-site role requires a minimum of 30 college credits and the ability to engage students, collaborate with staff, and uphold school routines. Compensation includes daily pay with progression after 15 days.

Your Role

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 30 college credit hours.

Compensation & Benefits

• $125 per day for licensed teachers for the first 15 days, then adjusted to teacher rate of pay plus retroactive pay starting on the 16th day.
• $120 per day for substitutes holding a valid Indiana Substitute Permit for the first 15 days, then adjusted to $175 rate of pay plus retroactive pay starting on the 16th day.
• Salary commensurate with education level and experience.
