Montgomery-Public-Schools seeks an Extended Leave Certified Substitute for a temporary position in Alabama. The candidate must hold a valid Alabama Professional Educator Certificate with proper endorsements and be available to teach until the regular employee is able to assume normal duties.

Salary starts at $105.00 per day, paid until the regular employee exhausts leave, then at the daily rate of BS/0 Years.

EXTENDED LEAVE CERTIFIED SUBSTITUTE (TEMPORARY POSITION)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Alabama Professional Educator Certificate with proper endorsement(s) for subject area(s).
• Be available to teach until the regular employee is able to assume normal duties.
• Ability to meet the suitability criteria for employment under the Alabama Child Protection Act of 1999 and Act No. 2002-457’

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: A minimum of fifteen (15) days or more consecutive days to be worked in accordance with the student days on the Cherokee County School Academic Calendar.

SALARY: $105.00 dollars per day until regular employee has exhausted all leave and then will be paid at the daily rate of BS/0 Years.

REPORTS TO: School Principal/Program Director
