Job summary

Acelero Learning, Inc. is seeking an Extended Day Teacher to support a Head Start classroom in Camden, New Jersey. You will assist the lead teacher, help implement the curriculum, and promote positive development for children of all abilities.

Responsibilities include collaborating with families, documenting progress, maintaining a safe environment, and participating in meetings and trainings. This position pays $15.92 per hour and requires a high school diploma or equivalent; CDA or higher is

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child growth and development and classroom readiness.
• Ability to implement a child-centered curriculum and learning environment.
• Capable of observing and documenting progress to personalize instruction.

Responsibilities

• Work with lead teacher to support Head Start classroom operations.
• Plan and implement engaging learning experiences for children of all abilities.
• Address challenging behaviors with prevention and teaching strategies.
• Document progress through observations and notes; involve families.
• Maintain a safe, healthy learning environment and participate in trainings.
