Job summary

The Academy of the Holy Names is seeking a caring, responsible, and energetic Extended Day Program Assistant to join our Auxiliary Programs team. This part-time role supports our Extended Day program for students ages 4 to 14, providing a safe, engaging environment during after-school hours.

Ideal candidates will enjoy working with children, communicate well, and bring positivity each day. The position is Monday to Friday from 2:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, preferably in a school or camp setting.
• Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions.
• Comfortable using basic technology.
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with students during indoor and outdoor play.
• Monitor student check-in and check-out, ensuring accurate records.
• Enforce program rules and expectations consistently and kindly.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your care.
• Support the Auxiliary Programs Coordinator with daily program needs.
