Le Jardin Academy is looking for Extended Day Preschool Assistants/Aides. As part of our Extended Day program, the role of Aide/Assistant is to support the Extended Day Teacher with the development of our preschool students, socially, and emotionally in alignment with a fun and safe recreational program during Afterschool and Summer Programs. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00pm-5:15pm/6:00pm. Hourly pay range: $16.00–$19.00.

Position Summary

The Primary Preschool Extended Day Aide/Assistant will support the LJA mission statement and the implementation of summer and/or after‑school programs. General Responsibilities

• Support the Extended Day Teacher with implementation of age‑appropriate lessons and recreational activities
• Assist with classroom management and established routines
• Support student learning during afterschool hours
• Supervise students during instructional time, recess, and transitions
• Communicate effectively with the preschool team about student behavior and progress
• Follow all school policies and procedures detailed in the Employee Handbook
