Job summary

Saint Edwards School in Vero Beach, FL is seeking a Part Time staff member to act as a positive role model and support a fun, engaging classroom environment for students and peers.

You will prepare daily activities, help maintain attendance, and communicate with parents, reporting to the Director of Auxiliary. The ideal candidate has at least one year of related experience, strong confidentiality, and a willingness to serve the entire school community.

Duties

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year of related experience.
• Must be extremely confidential and self‑motivated with proven communication skills.
• Must be computer literate and have a desire to learn.
• Have a willingness to be flexible and the desire to serve the entire school constituency.
• Extreme attention to detail is required.

• Ability to follow through tasks to completion.
• Must have work experience in a supervisory capacity.

Physical Requirements

• Must be physically able to age appropriately address the needs of the students for example; lifting small children, assisting with their physical needs, and maintaining control of the classroom; especially if left in total supervision of the classroom.
• Work primarily in a traditional climate‑controlled classroom environment, with flexibility to also work intermittently in outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
• Have ability to lift, move, push/pull up to 50 pounds if necessary.
• Must be able to operate office equipment.
• Ability to move around campus, inside and outside, to observe program.
