Job summary

SSPP is seeking Extended Care staff for after-school program, 2:00-6:00 PM, mornings may be available. Starting pay $15.00-$17.50 per hour, through May 2026 with potential extension. Must pass background check and have childcare experience or education background.

Responsibilities include supervising students, planning age-appropriate activities, ensuring safety, maintaining attendance records, and communicating with parents at pick-up/drop-off. CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or childcare/education experience preferred.
• Must pass a background check and meet all state and diocesan requirements for working with children.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

SSPP is in immediate need of additional Extended Care employees for the 2025-2026 school year.

This role requires a commitment through May 2026, with the possibility of extending into the 2026-2027 school year.

This program runs between 2:00-6:00 PM. Available mornings for right candidate.

$15.00-$17.50 per hour starting pay.

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  

Working Conditions

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods of time.
  
• Requires the ability to lift to 25 lbs.
  
• May require outdoor supervision in various weather conditions.
