Job summary

The Extended Care Director Is Responsible For

• Planning and overseeing the Extended Care program


• Working directly with children and building positive relationships with families


• Communicating with parents and managing program enrollment and contracts


• Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising a small team of counselors


• Planning menus and purchasing after-school snacks


• Collaborating with the Financial Director to develop and manage the Extended Care budget


• Contributing interests, talents, and ideas that enrich the program

Schedule & Expectations (September-June With Summers Off)

• Monday-Friday: 2:45 - 6:00 pm


• Occasional Half Day Fridays from 11:45 am - 6:00 pm (~10x per school year). *if the right candidate can work most but not everyday after school, we could make it work!


• Two paid preparation hours per week

Compensation

$20/hr + annual hourly increases
