Job summary

The Horsham Clinic in Montgomery County, PA seeks an Activity Therapist to provide trauma-informed group therapy and expressive therapy grounded in dialectical behavior therapy. The therapist will lead a range of skills training and expressive therapy groups for patients across ages, families, and settings.

The role requires delivering trauma-informed care, coordinating with the treatment team, and fostering healthy adaptive skills; certification in creative arts therapies is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in group therapy
• Exposure to psychiatric patients in hospital setting
• Masters degree/certification in creative arts therapies (music, dance/movement and/or drama)

Responsibilities

• Lead trauma-informed group therapy and psycho-education rooted in dialectical behavior therapy
• Lead a variety of skills training groups, process and/or expressive therapy groups
• Provide opportunities for patients to learn and demonstrate healthy adaptive skills
