Job summary

Required: Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation, music therapy, or art therapy (with medical setting exposure); no previous experience required; preferred CTRS/MT-BC/ATR-BC credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation, music therapy, or art therapy (including coursework or internship in a medical setting).
• Experience: None required.
• Preferred: CTRS, MT-BC, or ATR-BC credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provides educational and therapeutic interventions (coinciding with patients’ treatment plans and treatment modalities) constructive and beneficial to patients’ mental health.
• Manages materials.
• Demonstrates an understanding of diversity.

• Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients.
