Job summary

Berklee College of Music in Boston seeks a creative Expressive Arts Therapist and licensed clinician for a full-time, 1-year role with strong potential for permanent conversion. The position blends expressive arts with short-term counseling for a diverse student body of musicians, actors, and dancers.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clinical caseload, providing individual/group therapy, and delivering crisis support during daytime on-call rotations, with on-campus consultation to faculty

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and current Massachusetts clinical licensure (LCSW/LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist).
• Expressive Arts Therapy certification from an accredited program is required.
• Minimum of 1 year post-licensure counseling experience; college mental health, crisis intervention, and substance use/eating disorder experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active clinical caseload using a short-term model.
• Conduct psychological assessments and provide individual/group therapy.
• Adapt expressive arts modalities to performing arts students.
