McDonald Hyundai in Highlands Ranch, CO, is seeking a skilled automotive technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to factory specifications. You will test-drive vehicles, use diagnostic equipment, and communicate with service advisors to keep customers informed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Dexterity with steady hand and hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills; ability to operate diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and proficient computer competencies.
• Positive, friendly attitude with eagerness to improve.
• Teammate capable of collaborating effectively with others.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components/systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C).
• Communicate with the Service Advisor so customers are informed about additional needed services.
• Provide accurate estimates of time needed for additional repairs.

Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed
• Provide an accurate estimate of time needed for additional repairs
