Job summary

Group 1 Ford Kennesaw is seeking ExpressLube Technicians/Mechanics to perform oil changes, fluid services, and routine vehicle maintenance to high standards. You will inspect vehicles, rotate tires, and document service findings while upholding safety and dealership procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Basic understanding of automotive systems (engine, brakes, tires, fluids).
• Ability to perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotation, and fluid checks.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow manufacturer and shop service procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, fluid services, and routine maintenance efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect vehicles for basic safety and maintenance items (tires, brakes, belts, hoses, filters).
• Rotate tires and check/adjust tire pressures.
• Document services performed and inspection findings accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Road-test vehicles when necessary to verify completed work.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Provide timely updates to service advisors regarding vehicle status and recommended services.
• Participate in ongoing training to expand technical knowledge and skill set.
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors.

• Inspect vehicles for basic safety and maintenance items including tires, brakes, belts, hoses, and filters
• Rotate tires and check/adjust tire pressures
• Document all services performed and inspection findings accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Road-test vehicles when necessary to verify completed work
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures

• Ability to follow manufacturer and shop service procedures
