Job summary

Don Mealey Sport Auto Group in Central Florida is seeking an Express Auto Technician to join our Service team. You will troubleshoot issues and repair vehicles as assigned, ensuring quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include inspecting engines and electrical systems, performing routine maintenance, providing repair estimates, and test driving as needed. We value work-life balance and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
• Inspect computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
• Conduct routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
• Provide accurate estimates for a repair or maintenance job
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures
• Road test vehicles when required or refers to the test technician
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned
• Ensure the return of the customer vehicle is timely and in top functionality as prior to being serviced
• Provide the administrative assistance necessary to complete warranty repair orders and other tasks assigned for completion of vehicle repair
