Job summary

Mark Jacobson Toyota in Durham, NC is seeking an Express Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair vehicles on a full-time basis. You’ll perform basic care like oil changes and tire rotations and participate in a structured training path with paid company and manufacturer instruction.

Prospective technicians should be mechanically inclined, ready to learn, and able to work in a climate-controlled shop with modern tools. We offer competitive benefits and a clear path for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prior lube technician experience is a plus but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Performs multi-point inspection
• Performs oil changes and tire rotations
• Recommends services based on findings from a thorough inspection
• Checks air pressure of tires

Job Purpose: To inspect, maintain, and repair vehicles. Perform basic care maintenance like tire rotations and oil changes.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles preferred
• Able to be on your feet all day, lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and tandem lift up to 100 lbs.
• Prior experience as a lube technician preferred but will train the right candidate
