Feldman Automotive in Sandusky, OH is seeking a motivated Express Technician to perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and basic services. You will document work, follow dealer standards, and work with seasoned technicians to expand your knowledge.

This full-time position emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and customer communication. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a willingness to learn; prior experience is nice

Responsibilities

• Document and perform work as outlined on repair orders.
• Drain oil and refill; replace oil and air filters.
• Inspect and replenish vehicle fluids.
• Check tire pressure and adjust accordingly.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Keep shop area neat and clean.
• Maintain accountability for dealership-owned tools and manuals.
• Operate all tools and equipment safely.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in dealership standards.
• Work alongside seasoned technicians to grow knowledge of the brands serviced.
• Communicate with Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services.
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs.

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Express Technician to join our team. As an Express Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on vehicles, such as oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and other basic services.

Responsibilities

• Document and perform work as outlined on repair order following all dealership and factory standards
• Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil; replace oil and air filters
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary
• Check tire pressure and add air if needed
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
• Keep shop area neat and clean
• Maintain accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Work along side seasoned technicians to continue growing your knowledge of the brands we service
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
