Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry level Stocking Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service and keep shelves well stocked and organized.

You will gain experience across retail tasks, including merchandising and product knowledge while maintaining a friendly store environment. Responsibilities include stocking shelves, moving products from pallets to shelves, and assisting leadership to meet store readiness.

Qualifications

• Entry level stocking clerk position.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and be a positive team member.

Responsibilities

• Move product from pallets or carts to shelf locations efficiently and accurately.

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll:

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products

• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately

• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back‑room areas

• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed

• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

• You’re comfortable learning and using basic technology
