Reynolds’ Subaru is seeking an Express Service Writer with no automotive experience required and paid training provided. The role emphasizes strong customer service, a positive attitude, and the motivation to learn.

You’ll greet customers, relay vehicle status to technicians, explain maintenance needs, assist with checkout, and coordinate loaner/rental vehicles to ensure a smooth service experience. Growth opportunities exist within a team-focused shop.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

• Basic to intermediate computer skills including Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and check in vehicles in a friendly, timely manner.
• Communicate with service technicians about vehicle status and needs.
• Explain diagnostic results and recommended maintenance to customers.
• Assist customers through the checkout process and payment.
• Coordinate loaner and rental vehicle scheduling as needed.
• Close repair orders with customers and ensure accurate documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the service experience.

What You’ll Do

As an Express Service Writer, you’ll help create a smooth and positive experience for our service customers from the moment they arrive until they pick up their vehicle.

• Greet customers and check in their vehicles in a friendly and timely manner
• Communicate regularly with service technicians regarding vehicle status
• Keep customers informed of diagnostic results, service needs, and technician recommendations
• Review and explain recommended maintenance and repairsAssist customers throughout the checkout process
• Notify customers promptly when their vehicle is complete, washed, and ready for pickup
• Review and close repair orders with customers
• Help coordinate and manage loaner and rental vehicle schedules
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the entire service experience
