Job summary

Swickard Auto Group in Anchorage, AK, is seeking an Express Technician for our high-volume Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac of Anchorage express lane. You’ll perform oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections on a fast-paced line.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of automotive technician, lube tech, or express service experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Physically capable of standing and working in Alaska conditions.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform express maintenance services -- oil and filter changes, tire rotations, fluid top-offs, wiper blade replacements, cabin and engine air filter replacements, and multi-point inspections
• Work efficiently on a flat-rate structure -- your speed, accuracy, and throughput directly drive your earnings
• Identify and communicate additional service needs discovered during inspections to service advisors -- supporting upsell opportunities and guest safety
• Follow GM express lane procedures and safety standards on every vehicle
• Keep your work area organized and your tools ready -- a clean, efficient bay supports a fast-moving express operation

• Physically capable of working on your feet and staying active throughout the shift in Alaska conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and self‑motivated -- the express lane depends on consistent output every shift
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
