Central Houston Nissan Dealership, part of Central Automotive Group, is seeking an Express Service Technician to perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicle performance and safety.

You will handle oil changes, fluid checks, lubrication, and basic repairs, read data, maintain records, and keep a clean, safe shop. ASE certification is required; high school diploma preferred. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training preferred.
• Knowledge of state inspection guidelines, especially emissions and safety, is advantageous.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, fluid checks, lubrication and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform emissions inspections, safety checks and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations.
• Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.
• Read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Keep the work area clean and safe.

Job Summary

An Express Service Technician performs routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, fluid checks, lubrication, and inspections, ensuring vehicle performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, fluid checks, lubrication and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform emissions inspections, safety checks and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations.
• Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.
• Must read, interpret, and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Understanding of automotive systems.
• Ability to use the diagnostic equipment and tools including power tools.
• Willingness to learn with hands‑on training.

Education And Experience

Physical Requirements

• May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
