Job summary

Williams Auto Group in Elmira, NY seeks an Express Service Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles at a busy dealership. You will perform repairs to manufacturer standards and complete repair orders accurately.

You will inspect vehicles using tablets and inspection software, capture findings with photos and videos, and communicate with the service department about repairs and delays.

This full-time role includes benefits and opportunities for growth within a respected automotive team.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-focused Dealership environment.
• Comfortable using technology including tablets and inspection software.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Automotive repairs and maintenance according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose vehicle concerns using inspections, testing, and customer information.
• Complete repair orders efficiently and accurately.
• Perform vehicle inspections using smartphones or tablets.
• Capture photos and videos of inspection findings for customer transparency.
• Communicate with the Service Department regarding additional repairs or delays.
• Conduct road tests and final quality checks on repaired vehicles.
• Install parts and optional equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized Dealership work environment.
• Follow all OSHA, safety, and hazardous waste regulations.
• Participate in manufacturer and Automotive training programs.
• Maintain dealership tools, equipment, and repair documentation properly.
• Support the Automotive team with additional tasks as assigned.
