Swickard Toyota of Edmonds is seeking an entry-level Express Technician to join our fast-paced service lane in Edmonds. You’ll perform routine maintenance quickly, focusing on speed, accuracy and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of technician or automotive maintenance experience preferred.
• Completion of an automotive technician training program or equivalent hands-on experience a plus.
• Basic understanding of vehicle systems and routine maintenance procedures.
• Fast and accurate -- able to maintain quality even when production speed matters.
• Comfortable using basic diagnostic and shop tools.
• Physically capable of standing, bending, and performing hands-on work throughout the shift.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• A team-first mindset -- you're building skills alongside technicians who can help you grow.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services -- oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, filters, and multi-point inspections -- quickly and accurately.
• Complete repair orders accurately -- documenting all work performed and parts used with precision.
• Communicate findings clearly to service advisors so guests receive accurate recommendations and timely updates.
• Stay current on Toyota-recommended maintenance procedures and service intervals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation throughout every shift.
• Work efficiently on a flat-rate structure -- your speed and quality directly determine your earnings.
• Contribute to a team environment where consistency, accuracy, and care for the guest are the standard.
