Job summary

Village Volkswagen of Chattanooga is seeking an energetic Express Service Advisor to join our Service Department. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Automotive service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with strong communication and customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Strong customer-service and sales abilities.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Volkswagen or automotive dealership experience is a plus.
• Reynolds & Reynolds experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally.
• Listen carefully to customer concerns and service requests.
• Prepare accurate repair orders and obtain customer authorization.
• Explain recommended maintenance and repair services clearly.
• Review multipoint inspection results with customers.
• Provide timely updates throughout the service visit.
• Coordinate with Express technicians to keep vehicles moving efficiently.
• Collect payments and properly close repair orders.
• Maintain complete and accurate notes in the dealership system.
• Help ensure customers receive fast, convenient, and dependable service.
