Express Lube Technician - Weekend Shift

We are currently offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus for new hires as an Express Lube Technician. The bonus is paid in two installments: $1,000 after 90 days of employment and $1,000 after 180 days.

Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington D.C., is hiring an Express Lube Technician in South Hill, Virginia, for the weekend shift. This position involves performing preventative maintenance services on heavy equipment at customer job sites or in our shop.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a shop service environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently at customer sites.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain one, with an excellent driving record.
• Ability to operate boom trucks, overhead and field service cranes, and various equipment in the field.
• Proficiency in computer use, Microsoft Office, and service software for completing reports and work orders.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed and comply with safety and environmental standards.
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver items up to 70 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including reaching, standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, and climbing.
• Excellent vision abilities required.
