Express Lube Technician - Weekend Shift

Sign-on Bonus: We are offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus for new hires. $1,000 is payable after 90 days of employment, and the remaining $1,000 after 180 days.

Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington D.C., is hiring an Express Lube Technician in South Hill, Virginia, for the weekend shift.

Position Overview

The Express Lube Technician performs preventative maintenance on heavy equipment at customer job sites or in a shop setting. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a shop service environment. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Requirements

1. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work independently at customer sites.
2. Valid Commercial Driver's License or the ability to obtain one, with an excellent driving record.
3. Ability to operate boom trucks, cranes, and other equipment in the field.
4. Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and service software.
5. Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
6. Compliance with safety and environmental standards.
7. Ability to travel extensively.

Physical Requirements
