Job summary

Capitol Chevrolet in Austin, TX is seeking an entry-level Express Technician to join our busy service lane. This role will perform oil changes, tire rotations and other light maintenance, with opportunities for advancement within Berkshire Hathaway Automotive Group.

Candidates should have a positive attitude, reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and be willing to pass a drug screen and background check. Experience in a fast-paced shop is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Flexible schedules, including some weekends.
Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset.
Reliable transportation to and from work daily.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

High volume Express Lane department.
Monitor and adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
Keep up-to-date with industry changes and participate in training and development programs as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
Providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer's perspective comes first.
Presents a friendly, professional greeting to customers and helps identify, confirm and offer resolution to customer concerns.
Ensures the customer's needs are understood.
