Job summary

Scholfield Honda is hiring an Express Lube Tech at our East Kellogg location in Wichita, KS. You will perform oil changes, filter replacements, tire work, and basic maintenance while learning advanced services with Honda factory training provided.

The team works a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule with no Sundays, and the shop promotes from within with opportunities for career advancement. Training is available and encouraged to grow your technical skills.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Completion of drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Changing motor oil, filters, and lubricants in a timely and thorough manner.
• Lubricating wheel bearings to prevent excessive tire wear.
• Replacing cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
• Testing tire pressure and performing tire rotations to ensure even tire wear.
• Thoroughly inspecting customers’ vehicles for oil leaks.

Our service department is on a 4-day work week. That means you’ll be off 5 days in a row, 17 times a year! Scholfield Honda is looking for an Express Lube Tech to help maintain and service customers' vehicles at our East Kellogg Location. You will be responsible for changing motor oil, preparing vehicle service reports, replacing vehicle wiper blades and car batteries, changing, rotating, and balancing tires, as well as additional maintenance and service tasks. As your skills progress as a Lube Tech, we will provide training in additional maintenance and prevention services. Honda factory training is provided.

Job Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar role or automotive schooling. * We have great entry-level positions if you don't have any prior experience or schooling!
