We're excited to welcome a couple dedicated, compassionate, and passionate Medical Assistant to join our new Express Care Clinic in West Shore/Mechanicsburg!

This is a full-time position with a rotating, dynamic schedule and travel between Sadler Health locations. Flexibility is essential.

The schedule alternates as follows

Week 1: Three 12.5-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM)

Week 2: Four shifts, including: Two 12.5-hour weekday shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM) and Two weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday, 7:45 AM - 2:15 PM)

Note: Weekend and holiday availability is required.

In this dual-role position, you'll be the welcoming face at the front desk and a crucial clinical support in the exam room-ensuring a seamless, patient-centered experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities

Front Office Duties

• Greet and assist patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone
• Register patients, collect payments, verify insurance, and schedule appointments
• Support smooth clinic operations by managing patient flow and communication
  
  

Back Office/Clinical Duties

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for evaluation
• Assist healthcare providers with minor procedures and exams
• Accurately document patient information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Perform routine lab tests, EKGs, phlebotomy, and assist in patient care situations
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times
  
  

To be considered for this position you must have a high school diploma or GED and must have completed an accredited Medical Assisting program.

You must have at least 6 months of full-time Medical Assistant experience and have an active BLS CPR/AED certification.

Those with previous experience working at a FQHC or community health center, urgent care, express care or high-volume clinic will be preferred as well those who hold an active Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA/CCMA) certification.

Starting pay for this position is $20-21 per hour.
