Job summary

Sunset Chevrolet Buick GMC in Sarasota, FL is seeking an experienced Express Service Technician to join our high-volume service department. Earn strong flat-rate income by performing maintenance services with speed, accuracy, and quality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Express Technician, Lube Technician, Maintenance Technician, or Tire Technician required.
• GM experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced flat-rate environment
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship
• Automotive schooling, ASE certifications, or manufacturer training preferred
• Valid Florida Driver's License and good driving ability

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, tire repairs, and other routine maintenance services efficiently and accurately
• Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and identify maintenance or repair recommendations
• Perform fluid exchanges, battery replacements, filter replacements, wiper blade installation, and other scheduled maintenance services
• Accurately document inspection results and technician recommendations
• Maintain productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced, flat-rate environment
• Follow dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures at all times
• Keep work area clean, organized, and professional
