Job description

Lexus of Cool Springs has the exciting opportunity to expand its team with the addition of a Full-Time Express Automotive Service Technician.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Participate actively in servicing every customer vehicle to ensure fast, expert service.
2. Perform minor services such as checking and changing the oil, lube, and filter following dealership and manufacturer procedures.
3. Report any issues to the Service Advisor or Service Manager.
4. Perform multi-point inspections on all vehicles (Customer Pay/Warranty/Extended Warranty).
5. Identify needed services or repairs and record recommendations in MPI.
6. Prepare accurate estimates for additional sales requests and communicate findings to the Service Advisor for customer presentation.
7. Assist other technicians with light mechanical duties as needed.
8. Dedicate work time to providing excellent customer service.
9. Communicate effectively with Service Manager, Service Consultants, and technicians to meet Lexus standards and exceed customer expectations.
10. Maintain cleanliness of the back shop and ensure equipment calibration to Lexus standards.
11. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Commitment to safety: Use of PPE, back belt, safety glasses, and shoes at all times.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
