Job Description

Lexus of Nashville has the exciting opportunity to expand its team with the addition of a Full-Time Express Automotive Service Technician.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Participate actively with the team servicing each customer vehicle to ensure fast, expert service.
2. Perform minor services including checking and changing the lube, oil, and filter of each assigned vehicle following dealership and manufacturer procedures.
3. Report any problems to the Service Advisor, Service Director, or Manager.
4. Perform multi-point inspections on every vehicle (Customer Pay/Warranty/Extended Warranty).
5. Identify all legitimately needed services/repairs on the vehicle and record appropriate recommendations in MPI.
6. Prepare accurate estimates for all Additional Sales Requests and report findings to the Service Advisor for presentation to the guest.
7. Assist other technicians with light-duty mechanical work as needed.
8. Dedicate work time to providing excellent customer service.
9. Communicate with the Service Manager, Service Consultants, and other Technicians to meet Lexus time standards and exceed customer requirements.
10. Maintain back shop cleanliness and equipment calibration to Lexus standards.
11. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Commitment to safety: Use of appropriate personal protective equipment, back belt, safety glasses, and safety shoes at all times.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
