Job summary

Carson Honda, a Sonic Automotive family dealership, is seeking an Automotive Express Technician in Carson, CA to perform lubrication and routine maintenance on customer vehicles. This on-site role offers hands-on training and opportunities for growth within a large automotive group.

You will work with a supportive team, use modern lubrication equipment, and ensure safety and quality on every vehicle processed. Minimum two years in a dealership setting preferred.

Qualifications

Two years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership.
Authorized to work in the USA and able to pass pre-employment screening (background, MVR, drug test, credit, license).

Responsibilities

Perform all lubrication services.
Inspect customer vehicles for essential issues and refer repairs to Service Advisor.
Operate and maintain lubrication equipment.
Process repair orders and service lifts.
Lubricate vehicles while checking for additional service needs.
Keep the customer’s car clean and protect equipment.
Ensure lifts and equipment are in safe working order.
