Job summary

Meijer Great Lakes is seeking an entry-level team member to deliver exceptional customer service, share product knowledge, and perform retail tasks across merchandising and operations. You will learn and use basic technology, follow processes, stay organized, and work well in a team.

This role includes overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead and opportunities for growth within a family-oriented company.

Qualifications

• Comfort learning and using basic technology.
• Ability to follow processes in an organized way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

This position will be responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude. This entry level team member position will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service and merchandising. 2 days on third (10p-6a) and 2 days on 2nd (1:30p-10p).

What You'll Do
