Job summary

Nikkiso ACD, LLC is seeking a Trade Compliance Manager to oversee export and import compliance activities at our Santa Ana, CA location. You will supervise the Import/Export team and ensure accurate, compliant international transactions across the organization.

The role requires deep knowledge of U.S. export controls, HTS/Schedule B classifications, and coordination with Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, and Finance to mitigate regulatory risk. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in trade compliance, import/export, customs, or international trade.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. export requirements and customs regulations.
• Experience leading a team and coordinating across departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage export and import compliance activities and ensure controls are followed.
• Review international transactions for compliance, screening, end-use/end-user, and documentation.
• Lead the Import/Export team with training, coaching, and support.
• Determine HTS and Schedule B classifications and advise on export requirements.
• Maintain relationships with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Perform internal audits and support regulatory reviews and company policies.
