ICAT Logistics is seeking an Export Operations Agent to manage air export shipments, quote rates, and coordinate with clients and vendors to ensure top-tier service. The role involves day-to-day coordination, tracking, and documentation for domestic and international shipments.

The successful candidate will handle vendor negotiations, prepare quotations, and maintain accurate data in the TMS, contributing to cost efficiency and margin improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of transportation or freight forwarding experience, specifically air/ocean export.
• Working knowledge of spot quotes, LTL, TL, and expedited ground services.
• Knowledge of NMFC and density rating; able to rate and route freight.
• Experience negotiating rates with trucking companies, carriers, and overseas partners.

Responsabilidades

• Prioritize, schedule, and route shipments for transportation throughout the U.S.
• Prepare quotations for ICAT clients and negotiate rates with carriers
• Coordinate and complete documentation between clients, vendors, forwarders, and brokers
• Track and trace freight, provide ETA, verify piece counts, and keep the TMS updated
• Prepare shipments for turnover to tracking team members and assist in invoicing
• Join sales calls with key accounts to cultivate relationships and provide customer solutions
